The Eastern Barbershop students are graduating and have advised us that until mid fall they will be unable to provide haircuts to the training centre. Once the new students are trained to cut hair we will resume with our Barbershop Wednesdays.

Job description/requirements: Variable/flexible positions as needed for the Center. Both vacancies need to cover for one another in duties such as: Lead up to 5 client’s volunteering(non-profit)-transportation provided to and from unless exceptional circumstances occur (Monday-Wednesday, plus in-house Thursday and Friday). Class 5 license a must, 4 an asset.
Other requirements include: Assisting, supervising and teaching assigned clients in daily activities. Specialized requirements must include:
Must be a team player, collating/facilitating lessons/activities/craft skills/flexible in various tasks/able to work with minimal supervision/knowledge of general kitchen duties, and exceptional documentation/office skills and Initiative. Probationary period after hiring is 3 months. Pending approval Health Benefits will be implemented.
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, Drivers Validity Check, Drivers Record Check (Abstract), Adult Abuse Registry.

On August 3rd /2018 we will be having our annual corn boil to celebrate New Brunswick Day (2 cobs of corn) are provided as well as watermelon, we will also continue with regular Pizza Day ( 2 Dollars a slice).
