Disability Awareness Week Walk & Roll Challenge
Wear orange and help spread awareness by participating in our "Sea of Orange". Join us in a province wide 15 minute walk or roll from the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal to City Hall. There will be cake! Disability Awareness Week (DAW) continues the tradition of National Access Awareness Week first established in 1988 to promote better community access for people with disabilities. This campaign happened in response to a request from Rick Hansen following his Man in Motion World Tour. The Saint John Ability Advisory Committee has been an active municipal participant since the beginning. Every year our goal is to highlight various strengths, passions, talents and abilities of persons with disabilities, their friends, families and our community to celebrate inclusion in the Greater Saint John area. Catena Jobs Plus is Happy to announce that the Barber Students from Eastern College have again offered their service to our Center on May.31st/2019. Thank you.
Just a little note to let you know Catena Jobs Plus will be open Monday May.13th, and will be CLOSED on Tuesday May.14 & Wednesday May.15th for Staff Training. We WILL be re-open on Thursday May.16th 2019. Thank you from the staff.
