With Canada Day just one week away it seems fitting that the theme for the activity packages be Canada Day. The packages have crosswords, word searches, hidden objects, eye spy and much more to help keep busy. Here is a sneak peak into the package. We hope your Thursday is just absolutely wonderful.

Now that things are settling down and restrictions are changing it is time to start our fundraising once again.
We are selling tickets on a lovely gift basket that was graciously donated to us by the family of an individual who attends one of our programs. The draw will take place on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021. The winner will be notified by telephone and will be announced on our webpage as well as on Facebook. The tickets are $1.00 each and can be purchased here at the centre at 1123 Grandview Avenue, at our yard sales on June 26th or July 31st, or through one of the participants that are helping to sell tickets. The staff and participants would like to graciously thank Dad’s Precious Metal Ltd for Donating these 2 beautiful Birthday Cakes for our 2 Participants birthdays.

The employment room has been using some of their time to help with an up coming project at the center, involving painted rocks.
Bob the pineapple plant is now 2 months old. He has grown some new leaves and is looking very healthy. We have put up a wall journal of his growth in the Forever Friends room. It is very exciting watching the changes that take place as the plant grows.

We are excited to announce that Tim O'Riley from the City of Saint John, called to notify us that we are on this years docket for a crosswalk with flashing lights on Grandview Avenue, in front of our center. This great news is what we have been waiting on for more then 4 years.
