Individuals work together to prepare snacks and beverages for break, help prepare lunch, clean the kitchen, bake, and may shop for groceries.
Individuals take classes in areas such as Focus Forward, Transition to Work, Anger Management, Self-Confidence, Personal Hygiene, Cursive Writing, Money Math/Budgeting, and Safety Start.
Individuals are supervised in house to cut, weigh and package rags and fold, staple, organize and count the bingo cards to be available for customers to purchase and fulfill requirements for weekly tv bingo. They ensure the bingo cards and rags are proper before being sent out or available to be sold. This in-house training program will allow individuals to transition to working independently in these areas.
Individuals learn work skills by volunteering around our great community in hopes of finding part time employment.
